Returns Policy

Refunds and credit process normally take within five (5) business days of our receiving your replacement part. As long as you return the product within this period, and without any damage or missing components, you will be eligible for a refund on your return. The receipt and package with which, it was delivered are to be brought along with the product to be returned back to us.

LIABILITY LIMITATION

IN NO EVENT SHALL AUTOPARTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, INDIRECT OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OF ANY KIND IN CONNECTION WITH THIS AGREEMENT, EVEN IF AUTOPARTS HAS BEEN INFORMED IN ADVANCE OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

Kindly make sure the invoice you are given carries a stamp of www.autopartsnigeria.com. Once the return is processed, the refund will be credited to you via your avenue of the payment method you used to buy the merchandise. You will receive a “credit approved” email the day you are credited. If the purchase was made through a debit, it may take an additional one to seven business days for your financial institution to reflect the credit back onto your account

The following items may not be eligible for return;

  1. Repair manuals, CD-ROMS, or any product that allows you to download a program to the vehicle, as long as it has been opened. If the item is still unopened (sealed), it may still be eligible for return
  2. Electrical parts that have been unsealed or plugged in
  3. Custom-made and special order products
  4. Batteries where acid has been added
  5. Parts that have been installed, welded, modified, cut, molded, mounted, etc.
  6. Engines and transmissions that have been installed.

CONDITIONS

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSIONS:
Returns of new or re-manufactured engines and transmissions will only be accepted if they have not been installed and returned within 7 days of purchase. They must also be returned in their original packaging, subject to inspection.

CUSTOM MADE AND SPECIAL ORDERS:
Custom-made and special order items cannot be returned, unless there is a defect in the product. In case you have any problems with such items, please call us so we can provide assistance.

ELECTRICAL PARTS:
Please call us before returning any electrical item for verification. Once opened, electrical parts are covered only by the manufacturer’s warranty. If you have lost the warranty, please contact us directly for a copy. Opened items cannot be returned.

If you need to verify whether or not your item can be returned, please call our Returns Desk at +234 818 880 9944 and we’ll be happy to assist you. If we receive an item that is not eligible for refund, we will contact you to discuss the disposition of your return. Ineligible items will only be held for a limited 2/3 time after our initial contact attempt. Please note that the warehouse may dispose of the ineligible items after this time unless arrangements have been made to have the item returned to you.

BREACH

Without limiting other remedies, AutoParts may limit your activity, immediately remove your information, warn other Users of your actions, immediately temporarily/indefinitely suspend or terminate or block your membership, and/or refuse to provide you with access to Autopartsnigeria.com website in the event, but not limited to:

  1. If you breach the Terms of Use or Privacy Policy or other rules and policies, if any;
  2. If AutoParts is unable to verify or authenticate any information you provide; or
  3. If it is believed that your actions may cause legal liability for you, other Users or Autopartsnigeria.com. AutoParts may at any time at its sole discretion reinstate suspended users.

A User that has been suspended or blocked may not register or attempt to register with Autopartsnigeria.com or use Autopartsnigeria.com Website in any manner whatsoever until such time that such User is reinstated by AutoParts.

Notwithstanding the foregoing, if you breach the Terms of Use or Privacy Policy or other ruler and policies, AutoParts reserves the right to recover any amounts due and owing by you to AutoParts and to take strict legal action including but not limited to a referral to the appropriate police or other authorities for initiating criminal or other proceedings against you.

WARRANTY / DEFECTS:
Warranty claims are those instances where the part is covered under a warranty for a period. The part works for a period of time, and then fails. Please refer to our Warranty Policy to determine coverage. Most manufacturers offer limited warranties with their products and require that you register your product to activate its warranty. Please refer to the manufacturer’s instructions to ensure that you can take advantage of your product’s warranty. DISCLAIMER; AutoParts do not cover miscellaneous expenses including labour costs for removal and installation of a defective part, materials, lost time or wages, towing, lift, dock or storage fees. AutoParts shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages including without limitation, indirect or special damages as a result of product defects.
